Falling
You'll never understand what you hold in your hands you're losing sight of it you're falling
Caesar stands above them brushes off the blades counting all the daggers ignore the many holes
ET TU, BRUTUS
they put my words in motion a notion never far
the words that they have spoken were broken from the start
You'll never understand what you hold in your hands you're losing sight of it you're falling
I'm afraid to speak out only to be shut down until I want to lash out but I wont let it get me
Am I really comprehending what you're trying to tell
is this really where we're heading open your eyes and see
You'll never understand what you hold in your hands you're losing sight of it you're falling
and as I let you go
I'm reaping what I sow and theres now turning back I'm falling
coagulate the latest blood that you bled out
it's far too late to make mistakes when the time is now
and I just want to lay down so lay down
my head gets heavy when I'm wearing my inverted crown
You'll never understand what you hold in your hands you're losing sight of it you're falling
and as I let you go
I'm reaping what I sow and theres now turning back I'm falling
If there ever was a timely album to sum up the United States in 2020, this is it. Elements of black metal, hymnals, call-and-response, sampled news audio, and Manuel's amazing voice come together to form a beautifully tortured sound.
The term 'avant-garde' is rightfully earned with every moment of this EP. mistermunn
One of the most spectacular albums I've heard since Lateralus. Amazing that this came as the output of a person grieving the loss of people whom they built lives and careers together with. The pain yet exuberance of this music is so enlivening, full of need for empathy and sympathy yet also hope and joy in carrying on to be an awakened person and express the highest good. Advosary

I swear to God. It's like stepping through the fn Narnia closet with each album. Yet somehow, again, I was not prepared for the absolute spirit quest this took me on.
10/10, will be spinning on my table for years to come. Magnus Blackwood
