Join the masses
See them fall in line
For the tyrant
for the precious few
Hear 'em marching
ever closer now
they will find you
and they'll break you
and we are lost
without a messiah to pin it on
we a lost
it is time for a new extinction
feed the lion
fight or become food
for the tyrant
for the precious few
hear the sirens
sing their final song
when the violence
comes to silence you
and we are lost
without a messiah to pin it on
we a lost
it is time for a new extinction
If heaven is the air that we breathe
enlightenment we receive
perception of the sky we mention inventions
taking us to new destinations
and killing foreign relations
If there ever was a timely album to sum up the United States in 2020, this is it. Elements of black metal, hymnals, call-and-response, sampled news audio, and Manuel's amazing voice come together to form a beautifully tortured sound.
The term 'avant-garde' is rightfully earned with every moment of this EP. mistermunn
One of the most spectacular albums I've heard since Lateralus. Amazing that this came as the output of a person grieving the loss of people whom they built lives and careers together with. The pain yet exuberance of this music is so enlivening, full of need for empathy and sympathy yet also hope and joy in carrying on to be an awakened person and express the highest good. Advosary

I swear to God. It's like stepping through the fn Narnia closet with each album. Yet somehow, again, I was not prepared for the absolute spirit quest this took me on.
10/10, will be spinning on my table for years to come. Magnus Blackwood
